25 Year Manufacturer Warranty – VubaMac Resin Driveway Warranty

For customers choosing our preferred VubaMac resin driveway systems, we’re proud to offer an additional 25 year warranty fulfilled by the manufacturer – Vuba Resin.

VubaMac Manufacturer Warranty Exclusions

• Poor or negligent maintenance such as debris trafficked into the surface of the resin bound system, or continuous dripping on to the surface from buildings or vehicles.
• Ageing and any purely aesthetical changes including but not limited to colour change, change in gloss, scratching, staining, discolouration.
• Natural or man-made events including, but not limited to severe storms, flood, tornados, earthquakes, earth-tremors, fires, wilful damage, vandalism and or malicious mischief.
• Placement, erection and or construction of any installation on, against or through the products after the application of the products was completed which has caused subsequent harm. Abnormal use and wear and tear, especially in areas of intensified use such as pinch points and turning points where static turning can occur.
• Exposure to any abnormal process or cleaning chemical not specified agreed to prior to the application.
• Any physical or chemical attack or damage, impact damage, damage caused by third parties or foreign objects, tree root growth or plants.

“Overlaying” Exclusions:

• Any moss and algae growth and associated discolouring as a result of an impermeable substrate.
• Any latent defect in the structure or surface on which the products are installed or applied including without limitation structural movement, settlement, softening, shrinkage, cracking, deflection which subsequently cause cracking or failure in the applied products.
• Any natural weed growth that occurs through lack of permeable membrane, or growth from the surface of the system, or other naturally occurring growth.

Maintenance for Optimal Longevity:

• Limit any turning on the surface, and where required, ensure is gradual and whilst moving.
• Clean debris from the surface regularly.
• Do not allow high point loading such as with the use of a car jack.
• Ensure that chemicals do not come into contact with the system.

What does my 5 Year Guarantee cover?

The PolyBound Home Improvements 5 Year Guarantee is to solely cover resin installations carried out by the contractors of PolyBound Home Improvements on the property address as written.

For the first 12 months your 5 Year Guarantee covers the following:

• Fading
• Sinking
• Cracking
• Loose Stones

After 12 months, for the remainder of the 5 Year Guarantee, the following is covered:

• Fading/Loss of Colour

What is NOT covered:

• Sinkages due to the use of vehicles exceeding the weight limit of 3.5 tonnes.
• Sinkage and cracking due to atmospheric conditions ie. ground conditions, temperature and weather changes.
• Loose stones due to ‘dry steering’ – steering a vehicle’s wheels on the spot while not moving.
• Chemical spillages – fuels, chemical waste, oils and other corrosive substances.
• General wear and tear beyond reasonable use.

Ensuring Your 5 Year Guarantee Remains Valid

Your 5 Year Guarantee on work remains valid subject to the property owner following our Maintenance Guide:

1. Use weedkiller once a year to prevent weeds.
2. Surfaces must be washed once a year to prevent dirt, dust and a build-up of grime.
3. Any spillages must be washed straight away.
4. Ensure vehicle turning on the surface is gradual and whilst moving – no dry steering.

How to Make a Guarantee Claim

Any signs of fading, sinking, cracking, loose stones or other damage to work carried out by PolyBound Home Improvements MUST be reported with presentation of this warranty pack within 7 days of noticing damage.
